Senior BI Analyst/Developer
At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Senior BI Analyst/Developer to join our dedicated Impact and Learning team.
Location: Fitzroy
Job Type: Max term (6 months) full time working 38 hours per week
Salary: $113,691 to $118,710 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation.

About the role
The Senior BI Analyst / Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of BSL’s Impact Story reporting and business intelligence products.
Core duties:
• Lead the design and delivery of a suite of high‑quality data products, including reports, dashboards, and interactive analytics tools that communicate organisational impact and outcomes.
• Shape and contribute to the strategic development of Impact and Learning’s data analytics and reporting agenda and lead its implementation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Apply advanced analytical and technical expertise to interrogate complex datasets, synthesise evidence, and generate insights that inform strategy, policy and practice.

What we are looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for supporting the mission of BSL and delivering excellence in your role.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Tertiary qualification or specialised training in a field with an emphasis on BI development, quantitative data analysis, and statistics (such as economics, econometrics or other social science, statistics, computer science, business analytics).

Demonstrated experience in a data analytics/science role with an emphasis on data analysis and report development.

Demonstrated experience reporting on quantitative data to inform decision-making, especially in constructing and managing interactive reports using business intelligence and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
