About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Coordinator who can provide supervision to Support at Home program Community Support Workers (CSW), as well as providing high-level administration support and service coordination to the Support at Home Participants. In this role, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high quality of service is arranged and provided in accordance with the BSL Participant needs and preferences.

Salary: $78,862.07 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation (pro-rata for part-time employment)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively develop and implement a consumer driven approach to program delivery, to meet the changing needs of Participants and other stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and management to staff to develop a high performing team, including oversight of onboarding, training and development, and performance.
  • Be the first point of contact for Participants and respond efficiently to all service scheduling related queries.
  • Collaborate with the Business Support Manager and Business Support Coordinator for effective staffing allocation and structure to meet operational requirements. Ensure effective recruitment of suitably qualified staff.
  • Coordinate all services requests from Case Managers and Participants, including service implementation.
  • Coordinate Participant, service provider and Case Manager correspondence.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a motivated and experienced service coordinator who is passionate about driving continuous improvements and supporting BSL’s mission.

Key skills and experience

  • Experience working in a similar role within the Aged Care sector and/or Disability sector.
  • Certificate IV in Community and/or a related discipline
  • Experience in developing, leading and motivating teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with a focus on achieving goals, developing workplans and setting appropriate priorities.
  • Proven ability in coordinating and/or scheduling services.
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
