Community of Practice Coordinator
At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Community of Practice Coordinator to join our dedicated Children, Youth & Inclusion team.
Location: Office Location
Job Type: Maximum Term for 12 months; Part Time working 22.5 hours per week
Salary: $90,962.92 - $97,875.15 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation. (pro-rata for part-time employment)

About the role
The Community of Practice Coordinator will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of Communities of Practice events as well as other key sub-activities such as trainings and stakeholder consultation.
- Co-facilitate and support the delivery of Better Futures training, consultations and Communities of Practice
- Sustain relationships with key youth advocacy organisations and establish new partnerships where necessary
- Establish and coordinate a disability specific youth advocacy group for Better Futures
- Develop and monitor work plan as appropriate.
- The incumbent may be directed to carry out such duties as are within the limits of their skill, competence and training

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in youth participation and advocacy practices
- High level of ability in developing and delivering training programs
- Demonstrated broad knowledge and understanding of policy and practice in the area of Out of Home Care, education, employment and disadvantage among young people in the Australian context
- Proven youth focus, with an understanding of and commitment to the values and ideals of the Youth Division including the Advantaged Thinking approach
- Ability to supervise and support direct report(s) to achieve desired outcomes within intended time frames
