Early Years Coordinator (Bayside Peninsula Area) 

We're seeking an Early Years Coordinator to join our dedicated NDIS Services – Early Childhood Team and work in the Bayside Peninsula Area. 

  • Location: Based at our BSL NDIS Heatherton Office (Heatherton, VIC 3020). The role will involve working within the Bayside Peninsula Area.
  • Salary: $87,886.87 - $94,565.36 per annum + 11.5% superannuation.
  • Employment: Permanent, full-time (38-40 hours per week)

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As an Early Years Coordinator, you will work with children experiencing developmental delay or disability. Together with their families, you will help to build their strengths, develop opportunities and promote access to the right supports at the right time.

As part of your new role, you will:

  • Engage with the local community to assist children with developmental delay or disability access mainstream services regardless of NDIS eligibility.
  • Support the delivery of a high quality early childhood service in accordance with the contract, program guidelines, early childhood best practice principles and relevant legislative obligations.
  • Ensure practices and processes are in place to enable service level monitoring, evaluation and reporting against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and to ensure required outcomes and performance measures are met.
  • Work collaboratively with management to identify opportunities for quality improvement, service development and potential resource implications.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma, Bachelor or equivalent) or experience working in the community with either children, families, or individuals with disability.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS.
  • Highly developed administrative skills.
  • Experience in customer facing environments that support or provide services to the community.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and change management.
  • Knowledge of the early childhood approach and early childhood best practice principles (desirable).
