Intake and Bookings Officer 

We're seeking an enthusiastic Intake and Bookings Officer to join our dedicated NDIS Customer Service Team. This role involves managing and meeting Partner in the Community contract deliverables of NDIS Services within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services portfolio. 

  • Location: Western Melbourne Area (WMA) region - based at our BSL NDIS Moonee Valley & Melbourne office (Niddrie, VIC 3041).
  • Salary: A competitive remuneration package ranging from $78,862.07 - $84,561.95 per annum + 12% superannuation.
  • Type of Employment: Permanent, full-time (38-40 hours per week).

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As an Intake and Bookings Officer, your role is a pivotal function of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). While working as part of a centrally managed Intake and Bookings Team, you will be responsible for managing and meeting Partner in the Community contract deliverables of NDIS Services in a defined geographical area.

As an Intake and Bookings Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely, efficient, and responsive service provision to BSL's NDIS participants, customers, and the community. Additionally, as necessary, this position screens participant records, ensuring that all relevant participant/family/carers information is correct, current, and available.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have: 

  • Highly developed administrative and time management skills
  • Proven experience working in a team environment that require for staff to pivot from one task to another flexibly and within short notice
  • Lived experience with disability or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families, carers and the community
  • Highly developed communication, listening and relationship building skills
  • Experience in working alongside community towards common goals
  • Confidence using a variety of computer programs and equipment and ability to enter information accurately
  • Experience with highly accountable processes that are subject to external review.
