Location: Fitzroy and Broadmeadows, Victoria, with some infrequent travel interstate required
Job Type: Full-time working 38 hours per week. Part-time options may be considered for the right candidate.

About the Role
The Practice and Service Development Lead will build the conditions for sustainability of the NYEB model and approach across the network through leading the co-design and development of key tools and resources, supporting NYEB demonstration sites, and documenting the NYEB practice approach and impact. The role will also lead and contribute to a range of publications around NYEB practice and the impact of the NYEB for wider dissemination to a range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-design and develop tools and resources to support communities' understanding of the NYEB practice approach and NYEB model
- Document and translate practice lessons for service development and communication with difference audiences, and support communities to do the same
- Sustain trusted local community partnerships across the CIC regions to harness community effort and ensure broad representation, participation, and collaboration, including providing one-on-one support to NYEB Partners.
- Facilitate conferences/workshop/forums/roundtables as needed with key community stakeholders to support ongoing service innovation and improvement
To be an ideal candidate for this role, you will have:
- Experience and knowledge of working with young people and/or community organisations in the context of youth employment.
- Broad knowledge and understanding practice and advocacy in education, employment and disadvantage among young people in the Australian context.
- Ability to write reports for a range of audiences including government and community.
- Understanding and application of evidence-based service design.
- Demonstrated experience with practice development and documentation.
- In depth understanding of, and experience working within a community development approach.
- Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you can respond to ad-hoc requests
