We’re looking for a professional Senior Operations and Business Support Manager with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 per week based in Fitzroy.

The Aged Care Division at the Brotherhood of St Laurence provides residential services, independent living accommodation for people on low incomes, and home-based services for older people and people with disabilities living in their homes.

The purpose of the role is to support the Director, Aged Care in leading the operations of the Aged Care division through analysis, strategy, planning, budgeting, and project management.

Working closely with the leadership team of BSL’s Aged Care division, the Senior Operations and Business Support Manager will support the Director, Aged Care by:

  • Leading the Aged Care business planning and budgeting process with support from Finance and Business Enablement.
  • Provide information and advice on government policy direction, trends, and innovation in the Aged Care sector
  • Developing and/or leading strategic initiatives and projects to support innovation, automation and performance improvements to modernise BSL’s Aged Care division.
  • Monitoring financial performance, generating insights, and supporting business decision making to enable the division to achieve budget and maintain an agreed margin.
  • Evaluating business data, processes, and performance, anticipating requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions that meet the needs of BSL’s Aged Care division.
  • Support workforce planning to meet operational and strategic objectives.
  • Facilitating the streamlining of internal and external reporting and drive initiatives to improve business intelligence. 
  •  Working with operational managers to develop business case for new initiatives and identing funding opportunities .

 Salary will be in the range of $120,000.00 - $125,000.00per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.
